Welcome to Money and Banking. This course is designed to provide a solid introduction into the financial markets and the banking system through a collection of topics varying from the financial system and the management of banks to macroeconomic theory and monetary economics.

 

The course material will be covered in 13 weeks in total and the assessment criteria will be based solely on the final examination at the end of the semester. The recommended textbook is:

 

Mishkin, Frederic S., “The Economics of Money, Banking and Financial Markets” (7th Edition).
