This course is designed to make students  understand what academic business style writing involves; to understand the powerful link between reading and writing; to be able to evaluate and analyze academic material; to generate ideas and build solid arguments, to expand their vocabulary; to draft assignments that contain a clear thesis, unified & coherent paragraphs & relevant supporting details; to write projects using proper citation; to view editing, revising and proofreading as components of the writing process.

    OBJECTIVES:

    The aim of the course is for students to understand what business writing involves; to understand the powerful link between reading and writing; to evaluate evidence; to generate ideas; to expand their vocabulary; to draft assignments of various lengths; to understand fully business writings that include a clear thesis statement, unified & coherent paragraphs with relevant supporting details; to write projects using proper citation; to view revising, editing, and proofreading as  integral components of writing.
