Course Description

The course introduces the methods of analyzing data and the process of model building by using econometric techniques in accounting. It analyses a wide range of topics in modern econometrics which are important for understanding and conducting empirical work. It focuses on regression analysis, hypothesis testing and inference on regression parameters. The course also offers an opportunity to participants to apply econometric analysis by using the EViews statistical software.
