The Internet of Things (IoT) is a self-configuring and adaptive system consisting of networks of sensors, actuators, and smart objects whose purpose is to interconnect "all" things, including everyday and industrial objects, in such a way as to make them intelligent, programmable and more capable of interacting with humans.

In this course, we will read and present papers around this topic, do projects on a remotely accessible IoT testbed, and will write short essays in an attemot to better define the IoT and explore potential applications. -GP
