In this course, we will deep dive into the world of statistical inference and regression methods.

We will start by introducing the basics of descriptive statistics and main probability notions, so as to ensure a minimum common background for all. We will then get acquainted with the basics of statistical testing and significance in various setups, proceeding with the most important correlation types and finally we will meet with (simple and multiple) regression modeling as well as analysis of variance (ANOVA).

All the above will also be supported via hands on experience using the R statistical software.

* Note that this course naturally follows after Statistics I (probability & estimation) of the winter semester.
