The current course provides a comprehensive examination of the major socioeconomic crises of the 20th century, regarding Greece & Europe, by employing an interdisciplinary framework that integrates economic theory, negotiation strategies, and historical analysis. It critically investigates pivotal events such as the Great Depression, the economic transitions following the end of the Cold War, and the formation of the European Union & Eurozone. Furthermore, the course emphasises the interplay between economic systems, political decision-making, and historical forces in shaping these crises. It explores the evolution of economic policies, institutional responses, and international negotiations.
Learning Objectives:
