Για την εξεταστική περίοδο Σεπτεμβρίου 2018 οι ώρες γραφείου μου προσδιορίζονται ως εξής:

1. Πέμπτη 6/9, 15:30-17:30,

2. Τρίτη 11/9, 15:30-17:30, και

3. Παρασκευή 14/9, 15:30-17:30.

Προσοχή, το γραφείο μου βρίσκεται πλέον στον 3ο όροφο του κτηρίου της Πατησίων 80.

Optional Exercises in view of the September Exam-Typos and Errata

In view of the fact that this will be the last examination of the Econometrics II course in the premises of the particular MSc program, I decided that the proposed solutions of the set of optional exercises can be also submitted (or complemented, and/or resubmitted, etc) for the September exam. The submission details remain the same.

Furthermore, you can find here details and links of corrections to typos and errata in several course notes.

Προγραμματισμός 5ου και 6ου Φροντιστήριου

Μετά τη σημερινή συνεννόηση με τον κο Αρβανίτη, στα δύο φροντιστήρια που απομένουν θα ασχοληθουμε με τα εξής:

5ο Φροντιστήριο Πέμπτη 17 Μαίου: GMM/IV estimator in a Time Series setting (with and without autocorrelation) - Theoretical Treatment

6ο Φροντιστήριο Πέμπτη 24 Μαϊου:

a) QMLE in a GARCH (1,1) model, simulation using Gretl (στο ίδιο μοτίβο του 4ου φροντιστηρίου)

β) Συζήτηση-επίλυση αποριών και ασκήσεων. Προκειμένου αυτό να λειτoυργήσει αποδοτικά, θα πρέπει οπωσδήποτε να μου έχετε στείλει με e-mail εκ των προτέρων και το αργότερο μέχρι την Τρίτη 22 Μαίου τις απορίες σας ή τις ασκήσεις που θέλετε να δούμε, ή τα θέματα επί των οποίων θα θέλατε να δούμε κάποια άσκηση/εφαρμογή, ώστε να έχω προετοιμαστεί ανάλογα. Αν δεν μου στείλετε αυτή την πληροφορία δεν θα μπορέσουμε να ασχοληθούμε. Για υφιστάμενες ασκήσεις που υπάρχουν στα αρχεία που βρίσκονται στο e-Class, γράψτε τον τίτλο του αρχείου και τον αριθμό της άσκησης (αν έχει), ή καποιο άλλο ταυτοποιητικό στοιχείο.

Σημ.: Αναφορικά με τις ασκήσεις που περιλαμβάνονται στο Προαιρετικό Πακέτο "Optional Exercises" (που αν τις υποβάλλετε θα συνυπολογισθούν στον βαθμό σας), μπορείτε μόνο να ζητήσετε διευκρινίσεις σε σχέση με την εκφώνησή τους.

A set of optional exercises will be made available to the course's students during the first week of May, via the course's e-class. The proposed solutions can only be submited at the day of the final exam of June's 2018 exam period. Details about submission will be made available in time via the course's e-class. The grade of the proposed solutions will be added to the grade of the final exam. The exercises' grade will be valid for any repeater to June's 2018 exam period, exam.
